Library holiday hours

Summer in Auckland is even better with a book!

• All libraries will be open throughout the holidays except for public holidays: Monday 25 December (Christmas Day), Tuesday 26 December (Boxing Day), Monday 1 January (New Year’s Day) and Tuesday 2 January, with the exception of Botany Library and Great Barrier Island Library.
• Botany Library will be open throughout the holiday period and close only on Christmas Day.
  Botany Library will be open on Tuesday 26 December, 9.30am – 5.30pm (Boxing Day), Monday 1 January, 10am - 5.30pm, and Tuesday 2 January, 10am - 5.30pm.
• Great Barrier Island Library is closed from midday Friday 22 December to Sunday 7 January.
• Mobile libraries are closed from Saturday 23 December. Regular schedule resumes Monday 8 January 2018.

Extended loans will apply to all borrowed items from the end of November through to mid-January. See here for more details on extended loan periods.
